Founded on Innovation

Since 1987, Technovative Applications has pioneered the use of interferometry in radar systems, establishing itself as the only company capable of delivering weapons-grade radar interferometers to the U.S. military and defense contractors.

Founded by Jim Williams, TA built the first Command Adjusted Trajectory Fire Control System, followed by the Hypervelocity Terminal Defense Fire Control System in 1990—a project which secured a Phase II award against major prime contractors.

Over 35 years, TA’s commitment to excellence has earned partnerships with the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Strategic Capabilities Office while maintaining the ethos, agility, and innovation that gave rise to our first system. We’ve been awarded over 145 contracts valued in excess of $250M.
