Job Description:
Technovative Applications is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to perform integration testing on advanced land-based radar systems. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with experience in radar or electronic warfare systems and some experience in software testing. The successful candidate will work on complex radar systems alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and execute test procedures to verify subsystem level requirements
- Perform system wide integration, regression, and verification testing for advanced radar systems
- Identify software, hardware, and system problems and support follow-on investigations
- Collaborate with our customer, internal TA sites, and other technical disciplines
- Verifying the operation of each radar system prior to field tests
- Coordinating field tests with customers, range personnel, and TA personnel
- Support and lead field tests on site; travel required
- Represent TA at customer test planning and review meetings
- Report status of system under test
Basic Qualifications
- US citizen, capable of qualifying for secret clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with other team members
- Planning and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with requirements management databases
- Working knowledge of Linux and Networking
- Experience with system level integration and testing on advanced defense radars
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 + years of relevant work experience
- U. S. citizen
