Project Planner Scheduler

Job Description:

Technovative Applications is seeking a Project Planner/Scheduler to assist Program Management with project scheduling throughout development and production of advanced land-based radar systems and other company products. The ideal candidate will have experience with creating, managing, and maintaining various project schedules in support of Program requirements. The successful candidate will support work on complex radar systems alongside a multi-disciplinary team.

Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide detailed project schedules which support the entire project cycle from development to production and operations
  • Develop project templates in conjunction with the project team, including critical path analysis, alternate schedules, and implementing variables into schedule
  • Maintain several schedules (planned vs. actual) at any given time for various projects in various stages
  • Support ongoing projects by working with the project team on project status, identifying opportunities for improvement, delays, and areas where additional concentration is required as well as support the rest of the project team as needed including project set up in database software, cost control, change order tracking and reports
  • Develop logically linked schedules from proposal documents, contract documents and estimate sheets
  • Interface with Program Managers and Project Engineers to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems
  • Contribute to the development of working schedules for estimating, prior to proposal date, which sufficiently illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract time
  • Maintain records; prepare charts, graphs, tables, reports, and other analyses as required
  • Participate as a team member on bid and proposal activity

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizen with ability to qualify for a secret clearance
  • Experience with MS Project and/or other planning software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) on defense contractor projects
  • Experience participating on proposal and business capture teams

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 + years of relevant work experience
  • U. S. citizen
