Real Time Systems / Software Engineer

Real Time Systems / Software Engineer

Technovative Applications is a small U.S. Defense Contractor in Brea, California. The company develops and produces fire control systems, radar interferometers, radar subsystems, and miniaturized communications transceivers for U.S. military applications. The interferometers have embedded real-time computers that perform radar control, signal processing, and data processing functions. The systems also have separate computers that implement graphical user interfaces and near-real time data reduction functions.

Radar system development is one of the most challenging and rewarding applications of system and software engineering because of the high processing speeds required to execute complex radar functions that are occurring while microwave pulses and target echoes are traveling at the speed of light.

As a small business, Technovative Applications provides creative freedom, challenging opportunities, and a refreshing environment for individuals to participate in a broad range of engineering activities associated with early concept developments all the way through implementation, integration, test, system sell off, and field demonstrations.

Some of our senior engineers have said that Technovative Applications is the best company they have ever worked for and the work assignments are the most interesting that they have ever had. The company has a comprehensive set of benefits and one of the most generous 401K plans in the industry.

Technovative Applications currently has openings for individuals at all levels of experience. Candidates must have an aptitude for system engineering and real time software development. Positions require occasional travel.
